Behind the lens

My name is Elizabeth Mangum, and I am an artist and photographer based in Madison, Mississippi. My husband and I moved here in 2024 from New Orleans, Louisiana. As an aunt to sixteen beautiful nieces and nephews (and counting), my love for photographing children began naturally within my own family. Those early photographs taken simply to preserve memories grew into a deeper passion for documenting the small details that make childhood so meaningful. I approach each session with an artist’s eye, focusing on soft, natural light and thoughtful composition. My work centers on lifestyle portraits and intimate macro details that preserve the tenderness, personality, and fleeting moments of childhood.
